This should be a back and forth type game with turnovers and field position playing a big role in deciding the winner. Both teams have high powered offenses and tough, hard-nosed defenses. It should be a fun game to watch. Good luck to both teams and hopefully both will be injury free.

I think the Lamar defense will slow down the Ava run game but I don’t think they stop it and the same can be said about the Lamar offense being hard to stop. I’m curious if Ava has the ball in Lamar territory and it’s 4th down if they’ll be willing to use their kicker who has made field goals from as far as 41 yards out this year. Our kicker also does a great job pinning the other team back deep on kickoff and punts. I think this game comes down to turnovers. I’m expecting a high scoring punch for punch back and forth game here. |

Lamar’s Defense since giving up 20 to Cassville, and 41 to that flipping weird game to Mac County last season, they haven’t given up more then 13 points since last season from the Cassville game onward. (All games mentioned were last season) Hope that makes sense. Lol they kinda allow and experiment on some drives to see what they will do, then clamp down. I’m not really predicting a shootout, I think Lamar’s defense is good enough to get more 3 and outs then Ava has per game. Even if it’s 2-3 more then the average game that would prevent a shootout. I think neither team with the wind and high leverage situation gets more then 28. But I’ve been wrong before lol I think both teams will struggle some preventing that shootout. |

The one real deficiency that AVA has is they are almost completely one dimensional. And Lamar could and should load the box and beg Ava to pass it. Lamar runs a lot of Double G and Counter. Their passing game isn't complicated but very efficient. Lamar has athletes but so does Ava.....Ava is stacked with 4 athletic RB's who if healthy could really do some damage even with a loaded box. |

Whatever we predict will be wrong, and will be the opposite haha. It could even be a game where like FG and Lamar last week nobody predicted it to be low scoring or a blowout. (Some did but not media folks) it could be 14-14 at half, or 7-7 or something super weird like that. I think the Saturday game always brings a element of weird to the table imo. |

Love the flex, (miss my guys running it), and Ava does it well. Game will be physical, and nobody does physical better than Lamar. I predicted a turbo over Fair Grove last week, and while they may not have got there, the much better team won without a doubt. The Bears rolled as expected too. While I think this on will be close on the scoreboard I just think "The Brotherhood" is a step above. I know it may be oversimplification, but if Lamar does not turn the ball over, THEY WIN.

It is my understanding that you are not supposed to post the game, if it includes video, for free viewing, even in a delayed form. But if nobody says anything to you.......
