Hartville and greenwood are better then a lot of people expected. Greenwood shoots the ball about as well as any team in the area. and the Hartville JV got a lot of good minutes in blowouts last year

Was happy to see Willow hold on late for a really solid win over the eagles. Also seen Ava blow out a tough East Carter squad on Saturday night. Not sure how many Dalton (sp?) had but it was a bunch. Looking forward to a great game on Friday, Willow vs Thayer to kick off conference play for the bobcats.

Willow 67 Greenwood 57. Started out as a big fireworks show as I think Willow only missed a couple shots in the first quarter and Greenwood I dont recall missing any. Both teams settled way down in the 3rd quarter. Bears are now 8-3 on the year

Is this the best the conference has ever been top to bottom in basketball? Teams 1-6 can beat just about anybody on a given night. Ava is ranked and only has one loss, they’ve beaten several state ranked teams but losing their start point guard has raised some questions on if they can keep winning at a high level. Wins against Mansfield, East Carter and Forsyth say they can keep winning. Thayer is highly ranked and are playing at a super high level with some great talent (I hear one of their players is getting D1 interest) The Bobcats very well could win it all in class 3. Willow has started to put together several impressive wins and are a solid team and are state ranked. Grove and Liberty are having nice seasons as well.
My SCA Rankings Tier 1 (toss up/any of these could win SCA) 1. Thayer 2. Ava 3 Willow Tier 2 (Good teams but probably won’t contend for SCA) 4. Liberty 5. Grove Tier 3 (Ouch) 6. Houston 7. Cabool 8. Salem

was also posted Thayer was playing without one of their big man. and Grove lost a 3 year starter to knee injury as well Nicholson is back. Believe Thayer has only played 2 games out of the 12 with a healthy varsity roster. Should have everyone back soon and will need them to finish out the 16 straight away game stretch. Last home game was 12/6 and next home game won’t be until 2/1. Bobcats play at Willow, at Alton, at Bakersfield and finish out the road trip in the Bolivar tournament with a first round matchup with Branson.

Willow beat the Bobcats 59-52. Congrats to the Bears was a fun game to watch. Thayer drops to 12-1 and next up the Comets. Both teams resilient. We got up 20-5 and I was waiting on reality to hit and it did. 22-22 at halftime. That redheaded kid has got to be going to a college somewhere or it's an atrocity. BIG win for the Bears! We got our 4th state ranked team in a row in Gainesville coming Tuesday, and then Mansfield who is no slouch. Gotta keep playin!

Yes it was a good ball game, got kinda wild at times. Willer has a very good defense. The thing that bothers me most is this. Whey did Jordan Andrews switch Jersey numbers? 22 to 15,you don't mess with the mojo. 😕
