Not sure how many of you watch the Lamar game. I just thought I could give a little bit of a recap of what happened. Lemar went in to most people as a 14 to 21 point underdog. Within the first quarter people knew Lamar could definitely win. Lamar was dominating with the offensive line and in the run game. Then after some costly mistakes and poor special teams? It was telling it was going to be a bizarre game. Lamar just couldn’t quit shooting themselves in the foot. I would’ve rathered of lost by 14 to 21 points. Then to have lost that way. But every Lamar fan knew going into that game that our special teams is poor, and it hasn’t cost us the game yet? But it could. And It did to a degree. Not taking anything away from Lutheran (St. Charles). They did what they needed to do. And capitalized off of our mistakes. We are a young team and our freshman team that will be Sophomores next year are really good. I think we are in pretty good shape. I really think that if QB1 does not go down and come out for those plays on the final drive, you go down and score.... It was a huge deal... |
