I have seen where both West Plains and Mtn. Home have moved their games to 4pm and 5pm to try to beat the weather tomorrow evening. I would not be surprised to see more changes, so keep your ears open for that

Grove Houston at 5 confirmed Can’t believe Houston agreed to that. Not a wise decision imo.

Was strange but I can see Houston thought process, last game our defense completely stopped their run game. So I’m sure Sloan wants to loosen up the ground game with a bit of a passing attack this time around. Bad weather will hamper that plan.

Makes sense to move games if the weather is going to be dangerous. If it was just a bit of rain and normal wind nobody is going to switch the game time or day. But if you have severe Thunderstorms with Lighting, possible hail and super high winds it's better to be safe than sorry in the day of litigation.
Both teams had to agree to the change.... Glad wiser heads prevailed over the fans who wanted to play, delay and take risks.

Then maybe the stage is too big and the team isn’t capable of overcoming challenges on the road to the final step. BUT yes if there’s severe weather, or you can’t even see your hand in front of your face because of the snow (just extreme stuff) then yeah games need moved or played at earlier times. Don’t risk lives for sure.

More balanced attack than I thought. Imo Elliot is the best QB in the conference, taking the ball out of his hands and having to keep it on the ground is advantage Houston. I get why they moved it up, safety first but in a win or go home game, I’m taking any advantage I can get.

Don’t risk lives for sure. I agree and if the weather was just a bit of Rain and Wind it would be played at 7pm. It was the severe thunderstorm and possible Tornado that brought on the change. Could you imagine having all those fans and then trying to get them moved to safety. Then a delay for a couple of Hours to finish or a reschedule to the next day? Which is a nightmare for the official crews having to return. Last year we had a near 2hr delay vs MV starting right before half. We got done a bit after midnight. Even at 5pm the wind is going to be blowing that is what effects the passing game the most. Still advantage Houston…the rain and slick ball for Houston’s T offense would be a help for Grove and even odds. Sloan made smart move

It's windier than a used Ford salesman out there! (or even a new one for that matter )
