Just how bad did Lamar play to Lose? Lamar committed after watching film 5 of 11 penalties they were given. And the last drive which was looking like a game winning TD drive they didn’t commit any penalty they were flagged for. Lamar definitely didn’t help themselves on certain drives. And on one of the passing interferences that was called. But the refs were absolutely way too involved in a title game between two teams that any overbearing presence from refs would impact the game. BO is one hell of a team. Nobody else besides these two teams could’ve beaten the other (if you catch my drift here) Too close on talent and speed and coaching In this game for refs to be flagging this much. Especially if they don’t call plays both ways. BO had 3 flags. And one of them was a blatant face mask at the end of the game on the final Lamar drive. It was called a 5 yard penalty. Which after watching film it was a full twisting of his head/helmet. So a 15 yard penalty. If called correctly before another bad penalty Lamar would’ve gotten the first down they needed. |

Saw that.... they had two P5 players Ole Miss and Michigan.... just a mercenary All Star team... RS is the Public State Champion. Period.

Had heard rumors before the game that he was going to flip. Those guys were freakin good. Hate that our guys had to have it end like that, but a season to remember.. I will get the pickem scores up soon....

another weird tidbit. Marvin Burks was the Freshman that had his jersey hijacked for their RB that was supposed to be suspended. which got this Years Seniors freshman year cancelled
