lot of question marks in Grove. pretty good class of Seniors to replace. have a kid that could prolly run the option pretty well. and a Junior that could step up if we went that route. gonna be hard to replace Glenn and Vaughn at the wideout. hearing there might be a new face that's been roaming the halls last few seasons that could be a major difference maker as well

Heard Thayer might have a 6’6” QB next year running the offense. If any of y’all follow baseball you should get a great look at his arm strength this spring.

Ava’s injuries last season might help them this season as several underclassmen got significant playing time last year. We have a very talented freshman QB who could be a star. He just needs to put on muscle/weight. Should have lots of speed and experience on the team next season. My question will be the size of the line. Championships are won during this time of the year in the weight room. I’d pick Ava in the top 2 for next season!

Grove Should be competitive next season. Estep as a Freshman played significant minutes on the Varsity and I believe he will fit in nicely to our Wing-T offense as a QB. He can throw and run the ball in true Duel threat terms he just needs reps and some trial by fire to find his rhythm. WR wise P. Williams 6'3, Unger nice athlete, Haughey 6'3, and possibly he who has not played plus a Dang Good TE returns in Carson Allen 6'4 could help mitigate the Loss of Glenn and Vaughn to a degree, not replace but soften the loss. Offensive line wise we return 3 starters two OT and a OG. RB wise Hook, Metty and Peterson should be solid.
Defensive wise losing Glenn and Vaughn at DB could be the biggest blow on the Roster will be open competition for those spots got some talent on roster who can play there but they will be thin on experience. Estep played Safety well last year, Carson,Hook,Metty and Peterson at LB are going to be better. DL wise I hope Hutsell and Archuleta and Sheppard are working hard in the weight room they will be needed.
Grove should be solid next year but obviously behind Mtn.View and Ava as they are clearly the favorites with the Speed and Skill they have on their Rosters.

What about Houston? I thought they had a chance to make a big jump last year and they did. Now, do they have enough coming back to continue that momentum?

Houston, Cabool, and Willow were all senior heavy teams.
I think I remember Salem being relatively young. New Coach who has been successful. They may be a place to keep an eye on for next year.

Salem was super young only a handful of seniors on the squad and two of them got injured if I recall correctly. The Blue tigers fielded a squad of JR/SOPH and even some freshman.

Got word last night Willow hired a new Def coordinator. I'll get a name as soon as I hear something. His last name is Cox. Came here via Doniphan and not sure before as Doniphan keeps a staff a year. Also a schedule change - looks like we are playing the California Pintos week 1 instead of the Kansas school we saw last year
