That’s a quitter attitude, WS & Catholic have earned the right to play the teams they will face. Trying to soften their last games arse whipping in some sham game to falsely make it competitive goes against the principles of competition of all sports.
Taking a beat down is part of life and learning that on the Gridiron/Hardwood/Diamond etc. in a controlled environment with minimal risk is as far as we should go.
Developing coping skills is part of life, adults always meddling and playing savior is one of the reasons our youth grow up with a attitude they are entitled to never face the adversity of Failure and that some power should always intervene and level the playing field to keep them from feeling the emotional stress of losing.
That is counter productive to life. End Rant
