At the Ava football field, I would add new locker rooms and then put a large video board at the 50yard line between the existing locker rooms and new ones and put video ribbon boards on the top of each locker room. Not only would it look great but it would generate money back to the school to help fix other facilities with the ads/sponsorships you could put on them.

I like your ideas. At Willow I would get the parking lots paved and striped. I would also put lighting in at our practice field so we can practice after 5pm later in the season if need be, plus you would have an extra place for mighty mite games if needed. Instead of a video board because our scoreboard is so new, I would have some kind of scrolling letterboard with scores on it from across the area. And if its legal (they used to do this at Thayer I believe and were told no?) but I would put in a microphone system for the referees to announce what penalties they are calling like they do in college and pros.

I would demolish our visitor bleachers and make a matching set hire a guy to do nothing but keep our grass as perfect as a golf course, pave all our lots and build a tailgating area that are only accessible with a pass(just like college? i would also flatten the area next to the elementary and build a new baseball/softball complex. Letting the little league kids have may berry. and since im uber rich lets build a mighty mite field next to elementary also.

I used to say turf... But now that we got that and a jumbotron... I would say an indoor practice facility.

I like this Dew... Cassville does the scores of other Big 8 games... we mic the refs as part of the new system. Its up to the ref if he wants to do it.. but so far we have had no issues

I've always loved your stadium, but the visitor side is terrible! The grass idea is great too! On a side note, I help take care of the field at Hammons Field and no one realizes just how much work it takes to keep the grass on a field in that kind of shape! I wish Ava would put a logo at the 50yard line like you guys do!

Indoor practice facility, new football only complex attached to South of new gym....weight room, video room, football lounge, nutrition area for proper diet. State of art training room. And college level locker room. Turf field, video board. Build junior high football field at middle school with track. Tear up existing track move field east closer home bleachers, build new visitor bleachers with Bathrooms. Add second story to press box.

Well first off would be a life support system for Coach Meek.We gotta keep him around. Then we gotta get Webber on a lifetime contract along with Coach Meek. After that we really need to put visitor seats behind their team. They all seem to wander over that way.Couple more windows at concession stand or better folk working it.Score board with scrolling scores would be nice. But how many times have we known the score before they did?The dormant Bermuda grass in the fall just don't look right.Turf would be nice.As long as someone did not remove the center piece. All in all I kinda like the way things are here in Thayer.

Its huge.. do not know the actual size, could probably find somewhere... I know that $237,000 is what was approved by the board, but it may have come in under budget..

View AttachmentThat's not bad at all and selling ads and sponsorships for it would eventually make it pay for itself. Was that installed with the scoreboard or separate? Sorry for all the questions.
