I feel like every small town claims this about their McDonalds. I think it’s part of the McDonald’s experience. Oh, when you come down for the Lamar/Ava game, check it out. If it doesn’t take a hour? Lmk. Maybe Carthage has us beat, the one attached to the gas station. I’m under the impression if Lamar and Ava face each other that the game will be in Ava this year. You can come see if our McDonalds is better or worse than the Lamar one. |

What determining factor causes that? If both are undefeated, we’re both 1 seeds in their respective districts, what’s the next determining factor? We went to the last year game on the road, (MVL) in this slot? Why on the road again? |

Also both teams would’ve hosted the same amount of games. I thought last year was because MVL hadn’t hosted as many games? |

I think it will be at Ava... the reason is that it goes by district number and your place on the bracket. Ava comes from the odd number district and this is an odd numbered year, so they host.

lot of people already assuming ava and Lamar are district champs already. Unless something major, like a Covid outbreak, happens, I think that is pretty good assumption. Heck, I think Lamar could win their district with their second string. But we are talking about HS football here, you never completely know |

Yes, that’s right. I get confused with all the factors involved in this. HOSTING CRITERIA: District Games: The better seeded team shall host unless their facility is determined to be inadequate. Quarterfinals (Classes 1-5) The team who has hosted the fewer number of games through district play will be the host. Total includes: i. Forfeits which occur after district seeds have been finalized. ii. Games a team was supposed to host but did not due to inadequate facilities. ill DOES NOT INCLUDE BYES. If both teams have hosted the same number of games; the host will be the team who did not host a district championship. If both teams have either or neither hosted a district championship, the host will be the team on the top of the bracket in odd-numbered years and the team on the bottom in even-numbered years. |

Both teams will host districts .....so odd year bracket wins the day on hosting......Booger county on a Cold Cold fall day.
