Points vs records

I tried to keep up with a spreadsheet on scoring and points allowed along with records. Because I didn't have stats from every game these numbers will in no way show defensive and special teams scores. I also realize strength of schedules play a factor along with some teams played more games than others but we got what we got lol. What I aim to show is the scoring vs why we finished as teams where we did. I also did not (but probably should have) keep up with in conference points, these are overall

Scoring leaders
1. Ava 499 with a 41.5 point per game avg
2. Thayer 467 -  33.4
3. Mtn. Grove 363 - 33.0
4. Liberty 330 - 27.5 
Only the above teams made it past first round of districts 
5. Cabool 199 - 19.9
6. Houston 167 - 18.5
7. Salem 150 - 16.7 
8. Willow 137 - `3.7 

Points allowed 
1. Ava 154 - 12.8
2. Thayer 248 - 15.3 
3. Mtn. Grove 204 - 18.5 (Grove allowed less than Thayer but Thayer did have more games and their avg is lower)
4. Willow 271 - 27.1 
5. Liberty 309 - 28.0 (Liberty did have 1 more game but Willow has less avg, I did mention strength of schedule where Liberty saw Ava twice so they could rank 4 instead of 5 if anyone wants to plead that case) 
6. Salem 272 - 30.2
T7. Houston 272 - 30.1 
T7. Cabool 301 - 30.1 (also played more than Houston, avg is same)

So as you can see the points scored vs allowed is close to where the teams finished. And as mentioned if this were a ranking system instead of a point chart you'd put Liberty above Willow as Lib beat Willow twice and also lost to Ava twice. But Liberty showed their proof in the conf standings.
