Forsyth is pretty good. They have the brothers at 6-7 and 6-9 and the Blevins brothers too. (One of them won the slam dunk contest at the TOC) I am not sure you are giving them enough credit. Would love to see Willow Springs and Hollister play. That would be a very good game IMO. Mountain Grove is pretty good and may end up next to last in this group. You are right its tougher than most districts, for sure. the 6-9 freshman is going to be a force. he absolutely disrupted our offensive game plan. |

They will seed this thing next week. I think Sooner may have it right. Although would love to be in the room and hear the argument for the 2-3 between Hollister and Willow. It SHOULD be a lot closer than some of the people posting believe.
Hollister is going to argue that they nearly turbo clocked the same Aurora team that beat the Bears convincingly at the Blue and Gold. Wilson will counter with beating a Gainsville team that Beat Hollister for the Forsyth Tournament Championship. Both will say they didn't play well in those respective loses. I really wish that Ava vs Willow Springs game would have happened last week. If I am seeding I go 1 AVA 2 HOLLISTER 3 WILLOW SPRINGS 4 FORSYTH 5 MOUNTAIN GROVE 6 LOGAN-ROGERSVILLE 7 REEDS SPRING
Who knows how the coaches will vote. It would not shock me to come down to a single vote (maybe Rogersville) deciding who is second and who is third. (not sure it really matters, they will likely settle it on the court anyway.)

This next week could still have some bearing.
Much of this has played it's way out. That 2nd and 3rd seed being the exception.
If it were me, and thank goodness it isnt. If I were to seed it right now:
Ava-Hollister-Willow Springs-Forsyth-Grove-Rog-RS But I see the argument for Willow being second. It won't surprise me if that happens.
(after seeing Rogersville play RS tonight, I moved them back behind Grove, like I had them to begin with)

Well, I said games this week could have some bearing..
Hollister lost last night at Rogersville. Aparently got off to a really slow start, after not playing for nearly 2 weeks.
Back to the original point of the post, its a really tough district. (one of the teams near the bottom beat one near the top)

Strafford is finally healthy. They are the 3 seed in their district behind 1 Skyline and 2 Greenwood but in my opinion, they maybe the favorite to come out of that district. |

Strafford rolled Skyline last night so you are probably right. Could be decided in the semi’s vs Greenwood. Never know which Greenwood team will show up. |

I will be there for Districts but not likely to be there for the regular season game. I will be calling a Class 2 District Semi-final that night.
