Who will Ava hire for football spot? The current OC? I believe so. It sounds like the entire coaching staff is sticking around. Dan has really poured into them for years, I think they’ll be just fine. I’m more sad to lose Coach Sieger’s son. With his skill level he could have graduated as one of the top QBs to come through Ava. That position went from an A+ to a ?. Other than that the roster looks pretty talented as it’s the next man up mentality. I would now pick the Bears to finish 2nd in the SCA. |

Grove  My way too early to be taken seriously picks are Grove at 1, Ava at 2, Liberty at 3 and Thayer at 4. |

I’d say that’s a stretch…Ava,Thayer,Liberty should be top 3…Salem and Cabool dark horse teams.

We lost both RB ,a Athletic TE/WR ,a 3 year Starter at OL. A 300lb anchor at NG. A 6’2 220lb MLB, A 6’0 200lb Sam/WB, a do all everything player who started at WR:OLB:FS:CB last season and was the Back up QB and we lost both our athletic Rush OLB. We also lost our SR return guy and WR as well.
Off the top of my head we lost 11 senior starters from last year.
I think we will be competitive but that is a host of talent that is no longer on the roster.
We got some nice returning players but losing that many Seniors many who started as freshman and sophomore can’t be dismissed.
