With Webber and now Swafford gone who is going to be the new kings of the SCA? Before these the leaders were Acklin, Ary, and Webber thrown in . Before that it was Ary and Schugardt. Now the longest tenured coaches will be Rodgers and Sloan (I think he's been a head coach longer than Kenega but correct me if wrong).
So does Thayer and Ava still rule the roost? Does Grove have enough to own the SCA and get #40 this year or very soon? Does Liberty return enough to make a run again? Is there a sleeper pick coming from nowhere?
It's way too early to make predictions. Plus we'll have to see what schools return what players and such. But it does make me think we'll see a wild ride in 2022. And may I be wrong but a not as strong as last year conference. We really wasn't that up to begin with.
Thoughts??

I think we are the edge of a pretty down cycle in the SCA for football. Hope I am wrong. Places are struggling to find coaches. Programs are losing numbers. Things do not look great at the moment.

You could be correct....Losing high quality coaches like Webber, Swofford, Wyatt, in one year has to be a bit of a blow to the conference. Add that to the reality that I do think that Ava and Thayer both will take a step back talent wise as well, and WS is in a constant rebuild mode, it's probably a good guess that the SCA will be done somewhat.
