How did you guys let him get out of town? And now he gets out of another SCA school and ends up in Strafford? Oy. He probably heard that Strafford is going undefeated this season and wanted to join in on the fun lol One used to say Strafford is the “Fastest team on turf” |

The Springfield media really likes to hype them and or Fair Grove up then Lamar or Ava ends their season. I remember a few years ago Fair Grove was moved into Ava’s district. All season their fans and the media said they were finally in a winnable district and make a playoff run. Ava faced them in the district championship and scored around 70 on them. They couldn’t take a hit. |

FG and Strafford are within spitting distance of Springfield so it's only Natural they get hyped up and receive a lot of PR. It's the nature of the Propaganda beast that pretends to be the media now days. I will say this last year FG was a physical team. As much as any team in the SCA. We shall see how they fair graduating 20+ seniors this season. |

Does anyone find it weird that on the Ozone they always have Dedicated Slots for all the Sports all year around on their front page except for football? It comes and goes?

We shall see how they fair graduating 20+ seniors this season. I know this is going to be responded with “Can’t use Lamar as a reference” because obviously they’re a different breed. (Don’t mean this like I’m pounding my chest, or bragging or suggesting they can’t be beat) But FG is ALWAYS ranked higher than they should be. Not meaning to have a rant, but I’ve never been super impressed with any squad they have had. At least in comparison to how they are being currently described by media. Springfield media doesn’t JUST talk them up. Last year someone on a Springfield radio (who was a host mind you) show stated they could beat almost anyone class 2-4. And they are taking down Lamar by at least 21. That’s a far cry from the decent team they are. I don’t think they are ever horrible when ranked or hyped. They deserve to be ranked. But I’ve only seen 2-3 squads during ranked years over the past decade where I was like that’s a top 5 team in class 2. I think Ava/Mountain Grove/LMV are all (this season for all 3) better. Strafford will be this years FG if they somehow beat both Ava and LMV. |

I think Ava has the best chance of beating Liberty, because they have them at the 4th game of the season. Liberty gets better late in the season. All the rest who knows. Thayer finishes 500 I'll be pleased.

Everyone is excited about the season to get started with our expectations for our teams and hoping this season will be that magical season that nobody expected your team to have . But you know the most exciting part of it is that it's just football season again . Let's all be SCA proud and cheering loud . Football season is here baby , OH yeah .
