Thayer and Ava losing is a bit of a shocker. Is Thayer second guessing running Webber out of town? Ava looked like they were going through the motions tonight with no intensity. The O-Line didn’t block and the defense rarely pressured the QB. It was an odd night to say the least. |

Was the field sloppy or is Strafford just that quick and fast? Ava LOS players did look lead footed. I know losing Adams changed the offensive dynamic but I figured Ava might out muscle and physical them. And for the most part I didn’t see that. Strafford had to throw 10+ verticals.

It did appear very slick but both teams had to play on it. Both teams struggled with jukes and making quick turns while running the ball. It didn’t seem to affect the passing game. |
