I picked WS to win and edited my post after watching film on Cabool. I figured WS WR and QB would be to much for their Defense.

LOL dew throwing shade after one win against cabool. Thats great stuff.
That game is way more about how bad many of us misjudged Cabool.

I will say this WS is improved because of Coach Payne and his approach and getting players to play. Their QB is mobile and can extend plays…they have a dang good WR in #5 Koehler who at 6’4 can make plays from inaccurate throws.

I told some of you guys using your lock for a game on the hill was crazy. I sure as hell won't make that mistake next Friday when we (Liberty ) play Them . yikes !!!!! No matter how down Ava is it's always a bruising battle to the last second . Same with Grove . You never know . |

With all of the parody going on in the conference now none of us can take any team for granted , That makes me think that the SCA is getting stronger . What do all of y'all think ?

We got beat down out coached out played and out hustled I can understand how you would feel that way but the score shows that you all never gave up , that being said , What is your reasoning about Grove being outcoached ? You are one of the most astute football minds on here and one of the longest tenure on here also , that counts for alot . |

Simple, we misaligned several times on defense which allowed big gains, and players also abandoned their technique on occasion and got out flanked or took bad angles and allowed Ava to hit the edge. I
Offensively we didn’t sustain our blocks at times and the QB locked on to bracketed WR while others where wide open.
Now I know for a fact that all of this was stressed in practice but on Friday for what ever reason it didn’t sink in.
Ava’s players played a relatively mistake free and fundamentally sound game, we didn’t so IMO we got out coached in that regard. No doubt our staff is dang good at their jobs, last Friday Ava staff was just a slight bit better.
Now it’s time to go to work and focus and fix those issues which I know is being done with gusto.

Now it’s time to go to work and focus and fix those issues which I know is being done with gusto. we also had a few tipped passes by our Wr that popped the ball up for tip drill scenario that were picked off. and allowed a KO return TD to start the game, and another that was taken down for a 50+ yard return. take away some of these miscues and the ones that MGHS pointed out and round 2 shouldn't be the blowout this one was. I'm not sure Ava could have played this one any better then they did. and we were exact opposite. |
