It's time to start playing conference ball. Last week the SCA went 5-3, this week we are at 5-2 awaiting Thayer's game today (Saturday). So in 2 weeks we are either 11-5 or 10-6, which aint bad.
My pick for game of the week (and DewReview hasnt been worked on yet) is Ava/Grove. It's an old classic rivalry and I would like to see you all's thoughts. Let's chat it up gang and get this board more active! Who wins this thing and do you see any other games being good ones to watch this week?

Honestly I think it will come down to coaching. If Ava executes Swafford's game plan, the game is very close.

Ava had better be worlds better than they were last year to even keep this game close. They looked awful a year ago. According to their qb they are better than the rest of the SCA.

Interested to see how Thayer responds today after being shut out week one. Hopefully week one of SCA play brings some chatter here. I know Cabool is 0-2 but I still think Willow/Cabool could be a good game.

More than 2TDs. Willow 34 Cabool 6 Grove 38 Ava 10 Liberty 48 Thayer 7 Salem 56 Houston 0 You are close on all your predictions but the Grove vs AVA score...Ava has circled that game and has been focused on it for a long time which is clearly evident from the comments C.Johnson made on the Ozone show. They will be playing their arse off that game to earn respect for the supposed slights they are getting compared to MV and Grove in the eyes of the public and media..

One could argue that both panthers and bears have played lack luster competition this season so far. Hard for me to really get a good feel for how good these teams are. So IMO I believe panthers by at least 2tds maybe more. Make no mistake about it this will be a panthers Win.

And now because of all of this Grove has the date circled with an even bigger bullseye and will be showing the bears how things go when you disrespect the panthers.

I have to agree with Bonehead. I feel like the comments Johnson made will fire up the Panthers more than us, plus between the comments made and us jumping on the field last year I'm expecting the Panthers to be firing on all cylinders! Hopefully we can back up the comments made to the media and use the advantage of playing at home. This should be a very hard fought game between two good teams!

What a terrible loss by Cabool. Dominate the entire game and choke it away. No idea why they went away from Koonts up the middle. What is the story with Houston and Salem? Surprising score.

Salem /Houston game should've been a lot worse Salem had 4 TDs called back due to penalties otherwise Salem would've easily had 50+...The officials were throwin flags like wildfire all nite on Salem not so much on Houston it seemed every time Salem would start Rollin refs would throw a flag...Not makin excuses but Salem should've rolled last nite
