Fire it up daddue! JE yes Grove absolutely gave us a game! Halftime adjustments were the key against Strafford and Grove. I do predict a Liberty/Grove rematch. Im hoping we get a game against both Ava and Liberty on our way to a showdown with Lamar before be go and get a redemption shot at Seneca. and as a fan i can look ahead, behind, or even sideways if I so choose  Sorry, but the winner of your district will get a showdown with Seneca, before you get a chance at Lamar. And, no disrespect to the SCA but as a Lamar fan, I'm hoping to get Seneca in the semifinals. |

I don't blame you for wanting to get revenge on the only team that beat y'all this year ,but, I really think either Liberty or Grove are gonna take that chance away from Y'all . Really I think that most of our conference would think of it a honor to be able to play Lamar in the playoffs . We hold great respect for Lamar Tigers .

Seneca has struggled with the better teams in the conference. The Indians defense seems to be non-existant. Nevada stomped them tonight 49-14. |

Seneca is plenty good …MV is clearly the favorite in our district as Seneca is in theirs … Ava is getting healthy.. Grove and Houston could be a interesting game part 2. Hard to beat a quantity team twice.

Mountain View can beat Seneca. But I don’t think Grove can. No offense to Grove fans. Mountain View does what Seneca can’t stop. Pass the ball, spread out the defense, and do varying things successfully. They have been absolutely ripped into shreds on the past 5 out of the past 6 weeks. Yes, Grove CAN pass, but that Liberty offense can spread them apart with explosive plays and pass. I like the variety and consistency of Liberty over Grove for my personal preference on likelihood. Seneca can still beat both, but I would give LMV the better chance. Like I said no offense. But LMV over Grove in upset over Seneca.

If we're talking about a Liberty and Grove rematch then the only thing we oughta talk about is can Grove's defense stop the run. As an individual who once watched the back of Evan Williams running away from me to the tune of 455 yards I can tell you that having a team absolutely pound you into the dirt with the run game can be demoralizing. Everyone still thinks of Liberty as a run and gun squad, but they didn't call single pass play in the second half against Grove. If there was ever a Liberty team who might be built for the weather in the playoffs this could be it.

That is a true statement..... can Grove's Defense slow down Ripko and Pruitt, can't stop them totally but can't give up that much yards per play and win. That is the question Hopefully we can dial up and step up and do better for the whole 4 qrts if we get past Houston which is a big if beating a team twice is never easy. |

I have no doubts about if Grove can beat Houston again . The game with Liberty though will be alot tougher game for both MG and MVL ,I think If they play again it's gonna be a game of a number of changes throughout wich means there is going to be a bunch of different stratagies and counter plays from both that we didn't see in the first game . Just like the showdowns of old . Then It just gets tougher from there on for the winners of our district .
