I never said Grove shouldn't be favored...... But the Odds are that if Houston can Move the Ball grind the clock and keep our offense hamstrung they can win.
Strafford's Defense won't stop Pruitt or Ripko and MV defense will shut down Strafford's Offense as they are prone to throw pick sixes to them. The Odds are no chance for Strafford.

I can imagine that houston could give Grove a good game for maybe a half , but after the first half Groves defense will set the tone for the rest of the game , and grove has a good air attack also with excellent run game that wears a line down . those slants were giving us fits . |

MG has come out flat a few times this year. against Ava and we see how that went. also against Cabool. It was a tie game at half. we came out of the funk and played like we were capable of in second half and blew them out. but Houston is good enough if they played well, and killed the clock that we might not be able to play catchup. and as mentioned before. a really bad weather game could stifle our offense. Much as it did to Liberty in their glory years. If MG has to solely rely on our run game we can get beat pretty easily this deep into the season

I agree.. we dont need that wind and rain. Could make Friday Night a lot different if its too bad.

I agree.. we dont need that wind and rain. Could make Friday Night a lot different if its too bad. No word yet but I wonder if it get's bad enough if MSHSAA won't allow games to be played on Saturday....If not the delays could be long. 30 min. each lighting flash or Crack of Thunder. 3 of those and you have a hour and a half delay. 4 and it's 2 hr's......and so on and so forth. |

I cant see Houston allowing the game to be moved. bad weather gives them an advantage.

But if you get all 4 of those lightning flashes in 5 minutes you only have a 35 Minute delay. LOL Most of SWMO got delayed last night
