Dang Liberty plays up both games and Ava plays a home school and is in 1st in the district? Willow plays down a class both games and Grove plays up 1 and even in 1 and is in 4th. I guess I don't understand all the variables. And yes I know it's only week 2 standings.

The point format is in the week 1 thread, but I dont get it either. As much as I like being 3rd Grove should be ahead of us just by scheduling up to Aurora

Strafford and Aurora are 0-4 now. That's part of equation.

Strafford and Aurora are 0-4 now. That's part of equation. I was thinking that along with the fact Ava has allowed 13 points compared to Liberty's 27???

its my understanding that it still uses the 13 point rule win by 13 get 13 lose by 13 get -13
so you get same score if you win 53-40 as you do 13-0

Too bad there is not some way to bust that District up and spread those SCA teams around some.

I did talk to another parent about the way that Lighthouse is used in standings for points......it's complicated math lol. They use the max preps MO. state ranking along with the power ranking in the NHSAA national homeschool power rankings and then I can't remember it was something about the point differential and crossing the T and coloring the fourth page of a crossword puzzle lol no it's just the two and then they are treated as a class three team against two's and two against one's...if they were to play a class three like east newton they go up to class three also then they would begin to drop against fours they would be three and so on...so against AVA they were considered a class three lost by morethan 13 and at that time were ranked number five in the NHSAA and 181 in the state of Missouri. Of course this can all change as to I think they play 6 state schools this year. And oh yah they have 75 kids on their Junior high teams this year.....absoulutely flabbergasted I think thats more kids than Marshfield fields in their Junior high lol. Well hope this helps a little!!
