What’s everyone’s thoughts?
Also keep an eye out on Mount Vernon. Ended up being the biggest surprise in the big 8. Predicted to win 3 games this year. Playing for a district championship. And they are not bad. Don’t score a lot, but play some stingy defense. Seneca’s defense has been reeling as of late. Just some big 8 updates for you all.

Not to mention, Tom Cox is as good as they come. He finds a way to get the most out of his kids, year in and year out. |

MV is a Huge Favorite over Grove. They know it and We know it. But with that said if we can focus, keep our intensity and Tackle Ripko/Pruitt and catch a break here or there we can win the Game.
Mt.V versus Seneca is a toss up IMO.

Pretty much what MGHS said. MV is the better team. if we can catch a few breaks and slow down Ripko we have a chance.

Agreed on the Mt Vernon vs Seneca assessment. Should be a great game. Wolves lost a shootout to one and beat the other on the final play. I give Seneca the edge at home but it will be a great atmosphere.

I have Seneca but it will be possibly close. But regardless I think MVL beats either. LMV is hot, and Seneca I don’t think can contain LMV. BUT LMV can’t let the run game go wild, then allow the pass to open up or it will be a long day. But I have my money on LMV.
I think Grove will give a fight against LMV. But LMV pulls ahead by 14 range for the win.
