Buying players is a Wonderful thing....you can really load up a roster when you have a open roster.

Buying players is a Wonderful thing....you can really load up a roster when you have a open roster. Play by different rules. It’s not hard to be in classes 1-3 with a loaded roster with kids from all over the metro and play some rural communities and win. Hope Reeds kicks them in the teeth. But any SCA school fan cheering against them (BO isn’t private and I get the Lamar thing. It makes sense it’s a rival of sorts) is crazy to do. Reeds is like us. Cardinal? Is uh not. That’s an unfair situation. But it is the situation. Hope Reeds can pull it off.

Hopefully you guys have more success than Ava did against Lutheran North a couple of years ago. I think they had a few SEC commits on that roster. That game was brutal. On a different note was Cardinal Ritter the program that got their season suspended in 2019 for cheating? If I remember correctly they were playing ineligible players by putting them in eligible player’s jerseys. It was one of the class 2 STL Catholic schools that year and I’m pretty sure it was Cardinal Ritter.

Yes sir, it is the same school. And the freshman kid that gave up his jersey and name to the "cheater" is now a senior and the leading rusher.

If you go to the Mosports board you will be surprised at the overt support for the Privates remaining in the Public playoff system. Even a few Public school coaches are Pro Privates remaining... the mental gymnastics they go through is mind boggling in a effort to justify rogue mercenary Squads playing by different rules to load up and beat public schools to gain some Sham Hardware.
The issue is that Local School Boards don't exert their authority and force their Administrators to do what is best for the Students they represent. The MSHSAA board does a Great job of Propagandizing and Bamboozling those Administrators into allowing the Privates to Compete in a unfair way versus Public Schools. It's amazing the Lies and Half Truths the Spew out. Public schools out number the Privates by a wide margin and could easily vote them into a separate class. But strangely when that comes up to a vote it always fails. It pretty obvious that a lot of Local Administrators ignore the will of their citizens and bow to the MSHSAA boards wishes. I've never encountered a Public School fan who is Pro Privates being in the Public school playoff system.

I think it’s unfair to say any expression that results in a mindset of a lot of people. There’s army Mike, all STL posters, and a few more. The rest of us do not like or support it, a lot of people these days ignore those threads. It’s a waste of time. Those people are also on top pf supporting that trolls. And those are the only posts you will see their usernames. It’s all they care about and comment on.

At least there is activity on Mo sports continually. That is more that we have. You have to wade thru some gifs and other junk occasionally, but there are always good discussions going on there about games and such.

And although I have been pointing out the differences for as long as I have been posting, if I do it now, they think its simply because I am whining about what my guys are about to face on Saturday.

I really think they might be coaches who wanted to throttle free expression...

ArmyMike is way bent on the subject, he even invoked the Race card recently. As I said their overt or aggressive support is surprising like they are trying to silence the issue. But with that said the Last time they voted in 2007 for a complete split it was like 392 to keep privates in and 91 for the split. So it's clear to me that MSHSAA really was able to propagandize the Administrators of a lot of rural schools to vote to keep the status quo.
