Nope Reeds Spring and Ava did not play football... That was the final score of the Basketball Game Friday Night. Wolves led 2-0 at the end of the first. A safety, I mean layup with :45 seconds left to go in the period.
It was the first game for the Reeds Spring football players, they had their first practice the day before.

Yikes!
Reminds me of several years ago Colley and Hawkins (Willow & Thayer) would have some classic defensive battles and the final would be 33-30 range.

I had heard Ava was really bad this year after their future Star Player and Coach left and went to Fair Grove.

I had heard Ava was really bad this year after their future Star Player and Coach left and went to Fair Grove. We seem to be able to play good defense but unfortunately have no one who’s able to score the ball which is a problem. We’ve got some good underclassmen who could develop into good ball players but this season is gonna be a tough one in Booger County. Is it football season yet? |
