New season and first week, makes me wonder how far on/off we will be. Let's get some discussion going and enjoy 2023 High School Football. Have at it guys...
Ava vs Buffalo
Cabool vs Harrisburg
Houston vs Orchard Park
Liberty at Strafford
Grove at Fair Grove
Salem vs St James
Thayer vs St Vincent
Willow vs California
Reeds Spring at Monett
Webb City at Nixa
Locally I'm going with Thayer/St. Vincent. Both teams are in the playoffs more often than not and I believe Thayer is back on the upswing.
Webb/Nixa should be a statewide game of the week for sure

I gotta go with Nixa/Webb. I’m friends with the teacher who’s in charge of their Nixa Live and he’s been talking about this game for weeks! I’m curious to see what Webb looks like after their pitching change

I’m interested in Salem vs St. James …lot of youth last year on the blue tiger squad and they have a new coach and a year of experience. So a win could be a bit of a gauge on the status of the Dent co. Squad.

I’m curious to see what Webb looks like after their pitching change YUCK. Would describe Webbs Defense. Lamar and Seneca scored 7 TDs on the varsity D at jamboree combined. They couldn’t stop the pass. Lamar threw 3 TDs and rushed one. And Seneca Threw 3TDs. |

Wow that’s crazy! I figured they’d probably take a step back but wasn’t sure how far back. I heard at work Webb was missing some pieces on the Offense, and a few on D who got hurt before the season. But unless the offense can figure out QB and how to defended the pass on D? They might finish middle of the pack. Or worse this year. |
