Week 1 Power Rankings

1. Ava - The class of the field by far
2. Thayer - Yes barely got by but was in a battle with another traditional playoff team.
3. Houston - A few mistakes cost them the game. Mistakes are fixable
4. Grove - Their starting center got hurt in the jamboree, once they get the new kid settled in and the o-line gels, they'll get back to being Grove
5. Liberty - Half my View friends think they'll win everything, the other half says their line is really small and it's a struggle. Time will tell and this is only week 1 of this power thing
6. Cabool - They had this close game with Harrisburg last year. Last year was last year but this is about where the dogs finished 2022.
7. Salem - Their loss was closer than ours
8. Willer - Seen enough notes about this team already, let's pick on someone else for fun


Sidenote - The power ranking of the conference itself? Won 3 lost 5 and could easily been 1-7. I know the quality of opponents and all factor in but we COULD HAVE BEEN 1-7! Gotta step it up guys!

1. Ava- Most picked them here and they showed why
2. Thayer- jump them up for now
3. Liberty- yes I was surprised by the outcome but they are still Liberty
4 Grove- The sky is not falling.. all will be fine
5 Cabool- really dont know, but their outcome puts them here
6 Houston.. thought they would win, lets see if they bounce back
7. Salem... it could be worse
8. Willow... Dew, I understand, maybe more than you know. Have been there.

1. Ava - said it before the season and I’ll say it again, they are two TDs better than the rest of the conference.

2. Thayer - came out on top against a quality opponent. Will have to stay healthy but has the talent to win several games.

3. Liberty - OL having problems early but plenty of time to get it figured out.

4. Grove - Special teams put them in a hole several times but Fair Grove has a couple dudes running the ball in Lair and Seagar.

5. Cabool - 1-0

6. Houston

7. Salem

8. Willow

Cabool they earned this with their win
Grove Faced a talented team with athletic size and Skills that out matched ours...Special teams was not up to par and will be addressed.
Houston they shot them selves in the foot.... to many Turnovers.
Salem put again the look real good getting off the bus

I always like to do an eyeball test to get a feel of the opposing teams size and athletic build. Film can only go so far in that regard and programs now days often don't even have height and weights on them!!!

Besides Cheer leaders also ride buses.... the issue is that Dew and Jordan are always in my line of sight being height impaired and ADA* not providing a stool to see over them or around them , I never get a good look at the Cheer squads so I just scout out the opposing team instead.

Maybe the Current Administration will help out us Height Impaired Folks of Irish and Scottish decent... I mean they hand out benefits to Every one Else now days. I'd just like the govt to provide a Saddle to put on Dew I will provide my own spurs and riding crop and then I could ride him around the Grove games... Be a win win for both of us. He could see some W's and I Could see over the Fans!!!!!! And Jordan could be Dew trainer and lead him around the Track and keep him calm because he might buck and get wild with TD's being scored and Possible Wins happening. 

I know I know I might of went passed the Dew point and went full on into a Willow Springs Shower of Rain!!!
