Have at it gang ... Ava vs Strafford Cabool at Skyline Houston vs Fayette Liberty vs Adrian Grove at El Do Salem at Knob Knoster Thayer at Salem AR Willow at Marionville RS vs Nevada East Newton vs Hollister I'm very intrigued by Liberty/Adrian. I did pick Adrian, Class 1 power, by 1 point on the pickem ( I did it for inspiration  )but how can you go against Liberty at home and not lose 2 in a row? This is my game of the week. What's yours? |

I think Ava/Strafford will be interesting. Strafford beat Ava twice last year in ugly, 1 score games. Ava had the ball in Strafford territory in both games as time expired. This seems personal, a revenge game for Ava. The Indians beating Liberty shows they have a quality team so I expect this to be a fight. I think it’s a close first half with Ava pulling away in the 2nd half. Even with our injuries last year, I thought we’d beat them in both games so while I still think we pull away, I could be very wrong. This could go down to the final drive like the last two meetings.

I agree, Ava should win. After watching last week's Liberty v Strafford game imo Strafford hasn't faced a physical team. As strong as they were against Liberty Ava will be to them. I think Reeds v Nevada will be the game to watch with Reeds pulling out a squeker. |

I think that the East Newton vs Holister game will be a good matchup. I'm picking East Newton to win their only game of the season.
Ava should be fired up for payback. I think their rushing attack will be too much for Strafford. Ava gets their revenge.
The Liberty vs Adrian matchup is interesting. Before the season, I would have thought that Liberty would roll them. But, after last week, Liberty might not be the same quality of team as last year. I'm still picking Liberty.
In the Reeds Spring vs Nevada game, I think Nevada will have no trouble with the Wolves. A weak Monett team rallied against the Wolves to make last weeks game close, so I think Nevada will roll Reeds this week.
