Father,
We come to you with thanksgiving in our hearts. Thank you for your love, grace, and mercy for us sinners yet you love us anyhow. Thank you for sports and activities so we can support our fellow man and woman in yet another way to show unity in them and you. Be with these youngsters and coaches as they represent their hometowns and may they do so with your guidance. There will be final scores and lessons learned, but with you the score is ALWAYS in our favor and we always win. Keep them and those watching safe. Shield your protection around them not only at game time but through their lives. Be with those that are struggling in any form. Open our eyes to them as your servants so we can help open their eyes to you. And Lord, we are human, at times we need protected from our own selves. Thank you for your son who paid for us imperfect people with a perfect love. Aint nothin gonna beat that. In Jesus' name, AMEN!
