*Disclaimer* Seeing teams in person goes farther then a box score
1. Ava 3-0 State ranked. at times looked great against Grove, also looked average for long Stretches. Not your typical Ava team with a lot of Size. But very Athletic.
2. Cabool 3-0 undefeated and State Ranked, so cant discount that, but similar to Houtons run, havent played "good" Competetion. But all you can do is play your Schedule.
3. Houston. 2-1 same as Cabool. havent played a good team. Struggled early with Salem. TExas County Superbowl should be a dandy this week
YOu could put Liberty, thayer and Grove in a hat and any could be correct answers.
4. Grove 1-2 Put up a good fight with Ava Early, then our youth and inxperience started to show. Good First half, 2nd half penaltie issues and missed blocks started back up. Im optomistic that what should be a gimme game against Willow will get the mojo flowing and be ready for a DoG fight in week 5. both losses to State Ranked teams gives them the nod
5.Liberty. 1-2 Beat a Thayer team that was considered the favorite. Up next is AVA. An Ava Win will make them very hard to beat out for Conference champs
6.thayer. 1-2 Shine wearing off of new toy. but a game that should be easily winnable looms with Salem.
7. Salem 0-3 a lot of unknowns in Dent COuty. game against Will in a few weeks may get cancelled due to lack of intrest
8. Willow 0-3 Tough year, All they can do is keep fighting. 1 win may be their ceiling
