No one is beating Fair Grove in the Liberty District.
No one is beating Ava in their district.
Only district that is interesting is Thayer/Cabool. Can either of them make some noise with some of the class 1 schools?
Would love to see Thayer get a crack at Marionville in the district championship.

Would love to hear MoSooner’s thoughts on the Reeds/Seneca/Mt Vernon district. I’m curious how Ava matches up against any of those teams? That’s a loaded district.

I dont think anyone is touching Seneca. Seneca could turbo Ava. Reeds is just ok, and MV is Really good or average this year. It’s becoming week to week for them. Seneca has the ability to win state, will they? Not sure. Class 3 is loaded.

I don't know if Seneca would turbo Ava but they're probably 2-3 tds better. I'm very interested to see how Ava competes with the Big 8 teams, might do better than expected.

Agreed. I am interested in seeing how Ava does as well. It is hard to get a gauge them this year because our conf is down so much overall

FG is crazy athletic, i think they are 3 or 4 scores better then Liberty. And play really good D Ava/MG will get walloped same way by Seneca. marionville will knock off either Cabool or Thayer.
SCA is not going to fair very well this year.

There’s been no way to measure how good or bad the Bears are this season. From watching game film from both Ava and Seneca, it looks like Seneca would be favored by 2 or 3 TDS as slomo said. A turbo clock would be surprising.

SCA is not going to fair very well this year. If it were the Marionville team from the last couple of years against this years Thayer and Cabool I would agree with you, but I dont think Marionville is as good as they have been either. Portageville is the wildcard. Who knows about them? Their scores look impressive, but that area is usually not very good. So who the heck knows. I would say Marionville is a slight favorite to come out of that district, but it would not surprise me for it to go crazy

If Thayer is healthy they could give the Comets a game. If Cabool stops throwing the Ball as much and Commits to the run they could beat the Comets as well.
FG is Dang good but they Might get a Game out of MV. FG has a real Soft schedule.....and Facing Pruett might give them fits he can counter act some things.

The Thayer Marionville Cabool district will be the most interesting like you guys said. Thayer did give Ava fits for a half. I think even though the SCA is way down, they're more seasoned than Marionville. Portageville is 7-1 and only beat 2 teams with winning records who've also beat teams that are 1 & 2 win teams. So it's hard to gauge them as well. Agree with MGHS Cabool has potential and a heck of an RB especially with that big line but they're pretty pass happy.

Will Ava play Senenca first round after districts? Yes unless Mt Vernon pulls off a shocking upset.
