Thayer QB hurt as well. Prayers for all. And yes, for as good as last week was, this was the exact opposite

Some of us have tried to tell you the conf is just not very good. Ava was struggling with Grove before Grove had to go to their 14th QB.

Some of us have tried to tell you the conf is just not very good. Ava was struggling with Grove before Grove had to go to their 14th QB. That first half was rough! Those fumbles really killed the Bears early in the game. Shout out to Coach Rogers! He seems to always have a good game plan against us and comes out of the gate hot! Also, sending prayers for those two boys who had to leave with injuries! |

So many what if’s. Ava had no answer for Estep. Hook played a few snaps on defense. But had no explosiveness. Most in Grove were expecting 5 to 6 wins. So all in all good year. Next few years should be very good.

Gotta develop some LOS players….losing some Good ones up front 50:69:61:52 will be hard to replace. We will be young for sure.

Struggling might be a bit of a overstatement but let's just say the Game was very competitive till Our QB went out...... once he was gone the odds of sneaking out a victory went down considerably. If he had stayed healthy we had a possible chance of stealing a victory in Booger county. Our Back up QB Chips Ahoy came out and gave a yeoman effort after the injury before he got his Bell Rung and was gone but in reality he doesn't have the big play potential of #7 and our offense without Hook at RB was even more short handed without Estep. Once we went to a Freshman rotation at QB the goal was to stay competitive try to win but not expose them to undo pressure and risk. |
