Students living outside city limits of West Plains have had the option of attending Dora and Koshkonong in the past. Heard they opened it up by adding Thayer, Willow and Liberty as options also.

The rural schools have had the choice of attending several schools around for a long time.

First time I’ve heard Thayer being an option for those rural schools. News to me.

A student can attend any high school who's district adjoins the district the student lives in and is also in the same county. Since Thayer is in Oregon County it would not be included.

That’s what I thought but Kosh is in Oregon County and they have been an option for several years now.
Rural School K-8 high school fair. February 21, 2024. Talk to school representatives from Bakersfield, Dora, Willow Springs, Thayer, West Plains, Koshkonong, and MVBT Liberty.
Richards school posted that on their Facebook page.
