Interesting …looks like nice Stadium but dang it’s really North West for a lot of the State

another interesting tidbit, is that Mizzou couldn't commit to the games being held there with the possibility of hosting CFP games

Ahhh that makes sense. Mizzou is listed as a possible playoff team this coming season. Although I'm a skeptic on that idea. We are returning most of our Offensive Production and have filled on paper the holes at RB two thousand yard rushers and OL a two 4* transfers one from OU other from SMU. But on Defense we got a new DC and DE coach and we got to replace a first round DE our DT depth both CB who got drafted. So the Defense will probably take a step back for awhile. But it's better to be safe than sorry on the situation.
It would be great if CoMo can never ever host the State Playoff games!!! Mean Mizzou had broken through the glass ceiling.

I graduated from Northwest Missouri, so I naturally hate MoWest. They do have nice facilities thanks to the Chiefs so it will be a good experience for the kids who make it, although it is way out of the way for most of the state. Wonder if it actually went for big, as it seems like UCM would be a way better location. Hate it for the kids as it truly is a special deal to play at a D1 facility for a state title.

I do like the idea of hosting it in a smaller stadium although this stadium is smaller than I’d like. Colombia and STL felt too big and empty. While the stadiums are really cool for the kids to play in, there’s zero atmosphere because of how large and empty those stadiums are. I loved the year that Mo State hosted it. The stadium is small enough that it doesn’t feel empty but not too small where it feels like I nice large class high school stadium.

I totally understand what you’re saying.
I coached in Louisiana and we made it to the finals on 2014. We played in the super dome, and while it’s a huge arena and it definitely swallows the atmosphere, it’s something the kids never forget. Imagine if the chiefs ever get a roofed stadium. Missouri kids would crawl on glass to play in that thing.
