Game was never in doubt, WS isn't a bad team but still has a long way's to go to move into the upper part of the SCA. Skill players are just average at WS and this is a problem for them versus quality teams. Well coached team though.

I was looking for you last night you short sawed off runt  We do have a ways to go. I said that this was a measuring stick game for us to see how far we've come. Last night proved that we got more work to do than I wanted to admit. Having said that I will take 3-1 over the years past, and this team has a better attitude than the teams of past. Last night tho they just didnt show up, and we gotta work on that more. Yes Grove woulda won anyways but my belief is that if you want to build your program up, you gotta stand up to the better opponents. And when you do you build more confidence and find ways to expose the other team's weaknesses. We got another hard game vs a state ranked opponent next week, and I may get proven wrong but I think we can make a strong (stronger than years past) finish after that. |
