Lord,
Thank you. Thank You for another day. Thank you for this game we all look so forward to. Thank you for a place, like this, where we can come together and share our love of this game and high school sports. Lord, I ask a special blessing over all those effected by the school shooting this week. I know it might be a ways from here, but in reality it effects us all. I pray that the day comes where we dont have to worry about things like this in our schools, or anywhere for that matter. As we look to tomorrow night, I ask that you watch over the players and keep them safe and free from injury. I pray for the safety of those traveling.
Lord, I pray that through this game that you may be Glorified; that those that dont know you will come to know you as Lord. I pray that our actions are consistent with your teachings and that we continue to strive to further your Kingdom.
