Again, for anyone who is new. I would like to explain something. I pick my top 10 games, according to how close I think the score will be. Not necessarily the best teams around the area. This way, (hopefully) every team has a chance to make the top 10 at some point this season.
Ash Grove over Butler (28-21)
Monett over Aurora (49-0)
Ava over Salem (28-21)
Bolivar over Springfield Catholic (35-14)
Carl Junction over Branson (42-14)
Buffalo over Hollister (28-21)
Mountain Grove over Cabool (56-0)
Reeds Spring over Springfield Central (49-0)
Carthage over Willard (42-0)
Cassville over St. James (42-0)
Seneca over East Newton (35-0)
Joplin over West Plains (36-29)
El Dorado Springs over Slater (21-14)
Fair Grove over Stockton (35-7)
Glendale over Kickapoo (34-28)
Hillcrest over Lebanon (28-21)
Thayer over Houston (42-0)
Tipton over Liberal (21-14)
Lighthouse Christian over Jasper (35-12)
Diamond over Lockwood (28-21)
Logan-Rogersville over Marshfield (21-14)
Lincoln over Marionville (49-0)
Mount Vernon over McDonald County (28-14)
Pierce City over Miller (35-7)
MV-BT Liberty over Willow Springs (56-0)
Ozark over Republic (21-20)
Camdenton over Parkview (42-21)
Nixa over Neosho (22-14)
Strafford over Pleasant Hope (42-7)
Sarcoxie over Southeast (Cherokee, KS.) (42-7)
Lee's Summit Christian over Skyline (35-14)
Webb City over Pittsburg, KS. (35-21)
Interesting note: Lamar has a bye week.
Games of the Week
1. Ozark vs. Republic (If I go to a game on Friday, this will be the one.)
2. Glendale vs. Kickapoo (I will be in attendance, and it is a Thursday game.)
3. Diamond vs. Lockwood
4. Ash Grove vs. Butler
5. Joplin vs. West Plains
6. Hillcrest vs. Lebanon
7. Buffalo vs. Hollister
8. Ava vs. Salem
9. El Dorado Springs vs. Slater
10. Logan-Rogersville vs. Marshfield
Upset special of the week goes to Diamond over Lockwood. Sure, it probably won't happen but this is a very unpredictable Diamond team that was almost in the rankings at one point early on.
I also don't think Lockwood is as great as everyone might think, despite their record and ranking.
