What day does district play start?

The district games are ever Friday, and the state playoffs are as well. I think some district champ games will be on Thursdays though, we have seen that before

Dew, you are right on the districts.. but they changed the quarters and semis back to Saturdays last year because almost everyone was changing them anyway... (they can still play on Friday Night if both teams agree.... but 1:00 Saturday after you get out of districts is what the state has scheduled)

I think some district champ games will be on Thursdays though, we have seen that before From what I've heard there won't be any games played on Thursday but I haven't received any type formal letter confirming that so I maybe wrong. |

They are not allowed to play on Thursday... that was part of the rules when they moved to this format... all games will be on Friday unless their is an issue with sharing a field.
8., Postseason Schedule:
a. Games 10-11-12 will be played on Friday unless the field is unlit; if unlit, the game will be
played on Saturday.
b. If two schools in the same district share a playing field, the higher seed will play on Friday;
the lower seed will play on Saturday.
c. Teams mutually agree to play on Saturday by the time bracket information is due.
d. Games 13-14 will be played on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. unless teams mutually agree to play on
Friday by the time bracket information is due.
