All kidding aside , I think that Liberty has the inside track to take it all , But you can never count Grove out because it seems like they just reload in adverse times and there back in the thick of it again and I think that's do to the dedication of their athletes and the will to never say die . Thayer is another team that I think will be in the race at the end just because they seem to over achiever when just about everybody counts them out .I'll just have to wait and see just how much the other teams have improved since last year .

The Wright County peckergnats for all you new guys that's Mtn.Grove. Just had to jab back cuz thats just what Teresita ticks do lol. Peckergnat: a person,bi-pedal and semi-intelligent, best described as a pestering(similar to that of a gnat)

Grove takes the SCA. Too many high caliber athletes. Liberty loses too much in the middle on defense and has no one to fill Cornmans spot on the offensive line. There line is too small and from what I've heard, not too much going on in the weight room. Offseason wins championships boys. And I wouldn't be surprised if Webber and company don't 'throw a kink in some plans too.

Not sure what water cooler you've been huddled around, but it sure sounds like your drinking the coolade that chiefsfan is supplying. Liberty's off season weight room has been extremely busy, and the "Cornman" vacancy you speak of. Well, we will see what Liberty has up their sleeves. Stay tuned, b/c Liberty could run the table and will take the SCA Crown, along with the District.

We have some good athletes but high caliber to me means D-1 or FCS type's.....Grove doesn't have MANY of those type of players, we have some who could play after high school but not High Caliber types. We should be good and competitive but it's May and the hard work in the next 3 months will tell the tale of the season not the HIGH caliber athletes we don't really have.

I know they have some talent. But it's thin. If they move someone back off the d line to fill Cornmans spot, that leaves the middle d line vacant. They have no depth. Players mentioned in recent rumors are not going to be there. I'm not running them down. Just stating facts. Their JV squad was horrible. Worst Liberty defense in a decade. Might be 1 or 2 off that bunch who may step up and help the V out but that's it. Not to mention the secondary losing two very good players. And they were a huge part of the offense too. It's early. I could be wrong. But I think they will struggle due to no depth. And the weight room? You might want to go down there a few mornings and see what's going on. Should be full of upperclassmen. It's not.

Well it's obvious I have no idea what I'm doing on this forum yet. I apologize. I will figure it out. I was trying to respond to joefish with his quote. Anyway, mghs, I suppose my terms weren't worded very well. I never said they were all college bound or anything. I used high caliber but what I mean is, look at all the sca sports the past 2 years. MG is dominating in most because they have very good.....talented....athletes that I feel like are better than the rest of the sca right now. This new coach you have, imo, will take the veer and make it very affective with this group of kids. Hard work and coaching are huge no doubt. But, you have to have the talent to work with. Do I think Liberty has a shot? Absolutely. But I give the edge to Grove.
