Some good match ups for the SCA to have some success in districts.
We all know Liberty, Grove, and Ava will steamroll through their week 1 matchups.
Willow has the opportunity to compete with and sneak out a win vs. Diamond.
Salem has a shot at Potosi
Thayer will beat P Hope
Cabool could possibly hang around with Sarcoxie

Buffalo beat Diamond... I know it is dangerous to compare scores... but that tells me Willow has a great shot

Anybody heard about changes in District play next season? This is the first year of the two-year cycle... I think most changes, whatever they end up being, will not take place until the year after next.

With Forsyth and Doniphan getting ready to cycle in, it will make a couple changes anyway. I dont know if they want to jump in after this year or not though. Their original plans were the next cycle but at that time it was another 2 year cycle instead of the 1 year cycles that are fixing to start after next year.

Buffalo may have beaten Diamond. But, Diamond put a thumping on a decent Sarcoxie team and walloped state rank Lockwood. I think their game against Buffalo must have been different than we realize, and probably a major down night. I wonder if they were missing players or something? I'm definitely not counting Diamond out, and am picking a 1 point game with Willow winning it.

Diamond did not put a thumping on Sarcoxie. Sarcoxie won 34 to 18. I have heard Lockwood has dealt with some key injuries, but not sure. They jumped out to a big lead on Buffalo and then fell apart in 2nd half to lose it.
