Dear Lord,
First and foremost Thank you for life, both here on earth and the promise of eternal life with you. Thank you for the joy you allow us while here on earth. Part of that joy is this board and the interaction that we get to have with one another despite the fact that many of us have never met and likely never will meet. Thank you for the joy that you allow us Friday Nights in the Fall. Some on this board are still on that journey this week. I ask for the safety of the players that they cheer so hard for each week. I ask that your name be glorified no matter what results come out of the games. I ask for the safety of those traveling to and from the games. At the end of the day, let us all remember it is a game.
Lord I ask for a special request for the Salem Community. Lord, this area, this school has had its share of heartache in recent years. Lord please be with those young folks injured in the crash. Be with the doctors taking care of them, be with their families and the whole community that is hurting right now.
I thank you so much, Lord, just for the ability to be able to come to you and simply ask for these things. May your name be Glorified in all that we do.
