You gotta stop them...that's all you gotta stop them. I played in Southern California where you didn't have a JV squad dress out you had what you had. Thank God I was on a fairly good team and we beat teams 64 and 70 to 24 to 40s but they gotta be stopped that's all. They will win it all. I remember so many people around the Springfield area giving Glendale so much crap about their year last year. So since the other team doesn't win or get close it's unfair?? nah that's football my friend......YOU GOTTA STOP THEM.

I dont think it is a foregone conclusion that they win it all. There are some other really good teams in class 5

I think they just slammed the door quickly so the other team couldn't sneak back in the game , It was a battle plan like SHOCK and AWE , The other team would have done the same if they could , I say all's fair in a contest of points , you gotta get em while you can .

Hey Bonehead just stating what I believe....you know how that goes right?? lol. But if they play like that against the others the other teams will be hard pressed to beat them...Plus its another home game for them...If we don't travel to Lamar to watch View we just might go to this one....much closer hehe

I am not going to say much about it, but I wouldn't call it unsportsmanlike. If you want to play football, then you stop the other team and don't whine about it if you can't. Keep trying, and you will get better. Maybe next year they can work on pass defense in case they run into a similar team. It's that simple and like daddue11 said, it's a contest of points. Come on!
Keep up the excellent work Falcons.

I don't have a problem with what Glendale does. I thought it was kind of crappy for the ozone to even put out the article to begin with. No need to bring any negative energy to them.

In my opinion, it wasn't a good call by Bobby Oler to say anything or to post a story about it. I would have left it alone. I have a feeling that there are going to be repercussions of some sort between Springfield public schools and the Ozone. I hope not, but I'm afraid it might happen because you know how Springfield is with their schools and getting good coverage.

I say you play the starters till halftime....no matter the score. I do not consider it "running up the score" if its still the first half.

Glendales defense has sucked, so they have to score a lot to win, pretty easy to see Mauk wanted to win, hence needing a ton of points haha

Who knows, maybe he was afraid Ozark would post some sort of ultimate come back. History shows that they are a team who has just the luck to do so. They also beat Webb City this year, and still ended up hanging 44 points on Glendale. So, can you really blame him? To me, it's almost a statement to the St. Louis schools.

I'm not so sure that Glendale can beat Staley (I think they end up beating Chaminade on that side) but can't imagine what kind of turn out you might see at Plaster if Glendale can get there. I think they end up playing Carthage in the semis.
