Father God,
We come to you today in Jesus' name, and thank you for such a wonderful football season. We also thank you for keeping our fans safe on the roads, thus far. We are now in the playoffs, where things get a little heated from time to time. Our emotions tend to be high strung for our teams and their successes, or defeats. But let us not forget to be kind to one another and have good sportsmanship towards the other team and their fans. Let us be able to accept defeat if it does happen. But Lord we know football is just a game, we also need to remember that we will not accept real defeat by the enemy, in our Christian lives. You are our one true King and savior, forever. Lord protect us from the enemy, and protect our players, fans, coaches, and cheerleaders this weekend as everyone travels a far to watch our teams. Let us come together as communities for a fun time, to laugh, to break bread together before or after the games, and congregate in your holy name. Lord, this country has been in turmoil and pain in recent times. We just ask that you will put your hands over our great nation, and make it what it once was. We ask for peace, serenity, and loving, helping hands of others. We love you Father God, and if anyone can turn things around we know it is you. It is in your holy name that we trust and pray. Amen
