Always glad to see private schools fall. You had a battle though, glad you pulled it out!

Thanks Dew!! Yes we had a battle. I think Trinity is going to be around for a while. So, I would say that Class 2 teams better beware. They are very young in the skill positions. Another good recruiting class could make them tough to beat next year.

About 6-7 on each side. Losing wilkerson, hardman, phipps, mooney and gepner is gonna be the hardest to replace. Offense will be fine. Pass d scares me

Lamar loses several of their skill position players. The entire defensive backfield are seniors. But, Lamar returns several linemen and will be better in the trenches, with a lot of depth. The best pair of DEnds in the state will be back in Lucas and Ayers. Lucas is also an all-state caliber running back. Lamar will definitely be capable of winning it all again and as of now should be the team to beat.
A lot depends on what kind of recruiting class Trinity comes up with. They have most of their skill players back with several of them being freshmen and sophomores. But, they are the type of program that could lose many of their players they have this year to a different program next year. Private schools play by a different set of rules. We'll just have to wait and see next fall what they will have. Hopefully MSHSAA will be keeping an eye on that team.
