In the Cabool Tournament, Willow falls to Cabool 9 to 4, and left the bases loaded doing so. So much for being undefeated The Bears are now 1-1 on the season, will play Alton in a reg season game at Home Tuesday, then back to the tournament on Wednesday vs Ava and Thursday vs Van Buren

Willow loses to Seymour 3-2 in Houston yesterday. Seymour played Houston and Willow in a doubleheader in Houston. This game was scoreless until the last inning in which Willow took the lead but couldn't hang on. They are now 1-4 on the year, play at Norwood Thursday weather permitting

Norwood remains undefeated (according to what we heard and one of those a big win over powerhouse Crane) after Willow loses 4-2 to them. It was a tie ball game until the bottom of the 6th and 1 costly throw scores 2 runners. Up next week, Ava & Grove. The Bears are now 1-5

how did they play against Grove? In the first innings it was back and forth, Willow scored the first 2 runs then Grove got 2 on a homer (the wind carried several deep balls for both teams but this kid can hit too). Grove got up 6 to 2 by the 5th and Willow made it 6 to 4 and then the wheels fell off for us. The bats quit and the defense had some errors. Gotta learn to finish games and get confidence too. Once they learn that, they'll be fine. They lost to Norwood again Friday Night at the Hartville tournament, and I dont know know the Saturday results or scores of any of these games. Hope to have an update soon.

Friday and Saturday Willow played in the Hartville Tournament. They went 1-2 to make their record 2-9. I dont know the scores, however. And I dont think anybody beat Crane.
Tonight Willow went to Cabool and won 7-6, no jv game. From what I am told this is our first conference win in 2 years! Willow is now 3-9 on the season, 1-2 in the SCA.

Willow defeats Thayer 12-2 in 5 innings. Mother nature wins the jv game. The Bears are 6-9, 4-2 in the SCA and no matter what happens vs Salem when they play will be guaranteed a winning record in the conference. They hadnt won a conference game in almost 3 years until this year.
