Could this be the year someone steps up and knocks off the BIG TWO?

I do think the SCA will be down this year somewhat. IF anyone is going to knock off the giants this might be the best oppurtunity to do it. I (along with Bobcat61's post) believe that week #3 may decide the conference with Ava or Grove winning. I will not count out Liberty but from all the offseason talk it looks like they are working on replacing Mr. Pruett still.

replacing pruett is going to be tough. His ability to run is what made Liberty good. im not saying he was all of the offense, but it was pretty dang close.

You're exactly right Dew, the biggest question from Liberty will be the qb spot. Not sure if will be starting a young soph or someone who hasn't seen much qb action in the past. Will have to rely on skill around qb. Also, Liberty will have good size on OL/DL, so that should help young qb.

When Pruett started varsity as the Qb his sophomore year most eagle fans believed that we didn't have a chance at the sca title, as most of you know that was the year it was split three ways. That is the best imo us eagle fans can hope for this year. I agree with above post, eagles have just lost alot. In Kno way am trying to put limits on the eagles but they have lost I would say 90% of there scoring offense.
