Houston I would put the eagles #3 and Ava #2, just don't think people understand how much the eagles have to replace. Just natural I think to put the Panthers at #1 spot based on most of there starting backfield is coming back. The rest of the list is spot on imo

1. Ava 2. Mountain Grove 3. Thayer 4. Willow Springs 5. Salem 6. View 7. Houston 8. Cabool Ava will be near the top but I don't think at #1. Grove should win the sca. Returning a lot of key players. Thayer??? You never know from year to year, but returning some young players that got lots of playing time last year. One thing for sure they will make a play off run. Willow at 4 is a pretty far stretch. Maybe 5. New head coach and fewer # of kids. View rebuilding year but will finish closer to the top. Coach Acklin will have his players ready to go. Salem mid pack. Showed improvement at times last year. Cabool Houston toss up.

As usual I am never right so here's my wild guess -
Ava - returns the most experience and depth, so I pick them to win it all. After that I have NO clue Thayer
Liberty/Grove winner Liberty/Grove loser - one team lost all their line but got what should be QB of the year, and the other lost their QB but has a solid line Willow/Salem winner Willow/Salem loser - I have no clue what Salem returns, hope someone can fill us in - and any of these 4 can go 3rd to 6th
Houston Cabool

Liberty Grove Ava Thayer Salem Cabool Houston WS MGHS why do you think that Willow goes to the bottom. And I was curious about Liberty at the top. I think that Grove should be in better shape to win the SCA

if Ava don't win it all the have failed, they have best returning team, they have built for this year last 2 years by playing the young guys in key positions. Grove has a few key skill positions but a BUNCH of new players in the fray. Eagles run a system of step up and fill your spot, they go as far as the skill set lets them, until somebody steps up and plays these 3 in conference on a regular basis it will stay this way. so Ava should be 1 and dog fight for 2nd spot. dark horses are Thayer who plays hard and Salem who is getting back to form. Houston is bottom IMO , they have shown little improvement last couple years.

Grove Ava Liberty Salem Thayer Cabool Willow Houston The conference championship could come down to the final play between Ava and Grove! It's at Grove so I have to give them the upper hand on that game. Definitely can't sleep on Liberty though.

I have been reading for several years that the "SCA will be down a little this year". I was wondering what it takes for the SCA to be up? The last couple of years they have battled outside the conference really well. Normal have a couple of teams state ranked. That's pretty good for a 8 team conference.
