Bobcat61 got to see a lot of offense last night, unfortunately he saw no defense as he came to watch my Bears (thanks for coming up old friend).
Thayer losing did not surprise me, losing by as much as they did however was surprising. I wasnt there of course so I dont know if it was a bad night of turnovers and short field like it was for Willow that made the score so high. But to me the biggest surprise isnt a loss by anyone it's the struggle Ava had with Marshfield. One thing I can say is for certain, even with Grove allowing 20 points it's definitely a lot of drawing board time for all 8 of us. But, that's why I like playing non-conf games to start the year we get to shake it off and go on.
Surprise to me outside the conference but in our district - Strafford being beat and not scoring a point

The EAGLES losing wasn't a surprise to me as I pick cape to win that game. A few turnovers and special team breakdowns isn't a recipe for success. Over all thoughts was we're Young at QB and we moved the chains great success, so alot to look forward to for eagles fans! I'm certain the eagles will be ready to go come sca play! Capes team speed was a huge factor along with a bruising talback I'm sure the EAGLES won't see again this year and huge up front. They pounded the rock all night and nothing we could do about it. From what I saw cape sure deserved that #4 ranking in class 4.
