Only team to make a run at Ava this year is now 0-4.Really don't see much of a threat coming up.How's it feel being 0-4?

Come november 11th will liberty fans cheer for lamar to beat ava just cause they are in the conference or root for ava to end the streak?

Well , If and Ava And Lamar BOTH get to meet each other on November 11th I would have to be cheering for what ever SCA team that would be in it at the time . But , I will not ASSUME that any specific teams are gonna be there .

I think that you should worry about the next team you play oh my bad you have already beat the rest of the SCA team they should just stay at home. |

The Marshfield game was too close for comfort and the Grove game was tight! Still have Salem, Thayer and possibly Grove and Lamar left. If Ava players get this cocky then they can lose to anyone on any Friday night. |

4. Ava (C2, 4-0, 5) – Fresh off their first win over Mtn Grove in seven years the Bears took down another long-time nemesis MV-BT/Liberty, beating the Eagles 35-14 Friday night. Quincey McDonald racked up 175 yards rushing and two scores while Bailey Bewley added 13 tackles as the Bears have clearly established themselves as the best in the Big 8 and likely the top seed in their strong district. Guess the Ozone thinks they could take the Big 8 as well.

its ok, you guys aren't used to being in this position. how many years has it been since you been a legitimate contender for a district championship? Just 3 years. We had a very good shot at it in 2013 and in 2014. |

We had a very good shot at it in 2013 and in 2014. it helps that was the years Grove dropped to class 2 and you were split from us and view you lost in first round game against Eldon in 2012-2013 Ill give you that in 13-14 as you made it to championship game against same team and lost. but Eldon got blasted 43-0 in the playoffs that year also |
