I predicted Ava would not win the district. But now with all the injuries Grove has battled not sure they have the horses to pull it off.

I hope we can make A game of it. Earlier in the year I said if we got a rematch we would beat them. If we play perfect and Ava has a couple turnovers we can do it.

I'm convinced that it's just the bears year. Just don't see them loosing this game. They'll be fine until Lamar and then we all will get to watch Lamar pound that crap out of them. Sure hope the bears self destruct, a panther win would suit me just fine.

The bears better get it done this year cuz next year I believe they will be going thru some growing pains. There loosing alot of this year's team. Yeah they'll still have there QB but be interesting to see how they come out.

I as a spectacular hate going to the hill, not much seating or good places to stand. Dang wind, no blockage. But it should be a great first half. I'm not sure Grove has enough gas to play 4 quarter's. I'm wondering if Ava is going to show up to cocky and blow it this Friday. To many variables. Can't wait

Yeah they'll still have there QB but be interesting to see how they come out. Honestly the core of this team is made up of yes Seniors but there are quite a few Sophomores in that core as well. The underclassmen have gotten quite a bit of playing time and look pretty darn good. I think we can replace the speed but I will be concerned about the size of the line for next year but that is always my concern so we'll just have to see what happens.

Having Barbe out kills grove....worse on defense than on offense. Grove must have someone step up and decide they are going to stop the run inside the tackles to have a chance. Ava's line will really decide who wins this game. Grove has the athletes to win, but that doesn't matter if they don't have time or holes. Give Otwell time to blink back there and Veach, Lane, Thompson and the boys will get open. If you decide to cover them, Otwell will beat you on the edge with his feet as he has proven already. Groves line has to play MUCH BETTER than they have all year to have a chance at this one. Just slow the bears front down a bit and let your athletes play, and it will be a game. Let them run over and around you all night and Otwell will be running for his life throwing off his back foot most of the game like last time and it won't end well.

Other than the district title you dont win much. Cause next is Lamar. I do think Ava is the strongest 4th quarter team in the SCA this year. Have to think they win.

im in agreement, I dont think either Team can get past Lamar. Im not 100% sure if we combined teams we would beat them, haha

I will just say nobody beats Lamar this year except MAYBE Trinity or Lutheran North.
