Going to TRY to keep up with this as I had issues last year, hopefully we see some reports across the SCA and local area as well.
Willow Springs girls are 1-0 after a 57-48 win over Conway at home. The jv won also. Next up tonight vs. Summersvile
The boys open the season tonight vs. Summersville. That's right folks 4 games starting at 4:30 boys and girls.

The boys start 1-0 with an 83-25 win over Summersville. The jv also wins 60-13
The girls are now 2-0 with a 62-18 win, and the jv wins 38-22

Next week in the Thayer tournament. We got plenty of "real teams" on our schedule and the rest of the SCA has plenty of "not so real" ones on theirs

Willow falls to Bakersfield in the first round of the Thayer tournament, then loses to Dora, and finishes with a win over Alton. I do not have the scores (was out of town all week). The Bears are now 2-2 on the season with the jv 4-0 and winners of the Thayer JV Tournament.
The girls lost to Gainesville by 1 and beat Norwood by 1 to make their record 3-1. jv record is unknown.

Ok I guess I wont keep up the scores and I cant get much info in my own town  - Willlow girls defeat Norwood again in the Norwood Tournament and go to 4-1 on the season. |

Next week in the Thayer tournament. We got plenty of "real teams" on our schedule and the rest of the SCA has plenty of "not so real" ones on theirs wasn't trying to get under your skin Dew, to the pint you were putting me in "quotes" lol. Just that's a very soft start for both boys and girls . The scores showed it too. I just wanted to see how willow was going to be this year. Lots of talk going on how much better this years team will be and even willow winning the sca . we need a measuring stick to gauge from. I guess we got it in Thayer tourney though. Thanks for updates and good luck to the bears

No worries. And yes we are supposed to be better with both. I do believe our girls will be better than most think, just not sure how much better. They really love Coach Tilley and she has more girls out than I've ever seen (25 or 26 I think). Most of them are young though which means we have more jv depth than varsity depth but they are willing to learn and work.

Willow falls to Licking 52-34 last night and the jv loses their first one 54-42. Varsity is 2-3 on they year and the jv 4-1

Willow girls lose to Springfield Central in the Norwood Tournament 61-42 (I believe) and are now 4-2 on the season
