Where is this talk of Willow winning the SCA? Depends on the resource(s)  several people from willow area had said at start of season how much better they are this year and would compete for the SCA title. They brought up having a new coach and new attitude . I think its great they said it and are supporting the kids. The mental part is half the battle of being a winner. The SCA has some good players in it this year for sure |

Willow girls defeat Plato 42-38 on Saturday to take 3rd place in the Norwood Tournament, record is now 5-2. They host Alton tonight (Monday) and it is also a "Pinkout" night which is a senior project and a fundraiser. The proceeds go to a teacher who has cancer (different from the teacher who has leukemia that funds was raised for this fall)

I will say that WS fans have the most misguided optimism of any fan base I know, which is a good and bad thing. Good that they support and believe in their team but bad in that they sit themselves up for heart break and failure as well.

Willow girls fall to Alton 47-45 last night, are now 5-3 on the year. Was down by 14 at half made a valiant comeback but wasnt to be

I will say that WS fans have the most misguided optimism of any fan base I know, which is a good and bad thing. Good that they support and believe in their team but bad in that they sit themselves up for heart break and failure as well. We learned it from former Rams fans who live in Mtn. Grove I do think next year I'm going to be as negative as I can, lol (reverse psychology ) and maybe we can win state that way ? ....... |

Boys lose to Winona 50-42 and the jv falls as well, now 2-5. They better step it up!!

Chiefs have a permanent home (Cleveland, LA, Anaheim, St. Louis back to L.A..... ) At least the Rams won their Super Bowl in the right state, lol |

Willow girls defeat Mansfield in a close game (will try to get score), are now 6-3 on the year

Back in the win column we go (and undefeated at home with a 2-0 record ), the boys win over Alton 69-31, and are now 3-5. The jv wins in a shortened 2 quarter game as well (Alton didnt have enough players) |

Willow girls defeat Ava 61-50, jv wins also. They are 7-3 on the year and 1-0 in the SCA

Willow boys lose to Conway 58-45 and jv loses as well. Now 3-6 on the year.

Willow boys upset Marshfield in the Blue & Gold tournament 47-45, now 4-6 on the year. The girls win in the first round of the Grove tournament 72-56 (will find out who they played), now 8-3 on the year
